09 diciembre 2023.- El resultado del Examen Nacional de Medicina (ENAM) 2023 ubica a la Universidad Nacional de San Agustín de Arequipa (UNSA) entre las cinco mejores del país de 34 casas superiores de estudio participantes.

La universidad arequipeña es la primera fuera de Lima en destacar en la prueba nacional diseñada para medir los conocimientos y razonamiento fundamentales del futuro médico general, organizada por la Asociación Peruana de Facultades de Medicina (ASPEFAM).

Se trata de un examen escrito objetivo, de selección múltiple y razonamiento clínico en base a casos médicos.

El decano de la Facultad de Medicina de la UNSA, Dr. Richard Paredes Orúe, reconoció el esfuerzo de los 80 estudiantes del último año de la carrera que reflejaron los conocimientos impartidos por sus docentes y las capacidades adquiridas en cada sesión de aprendizaje y práctica de laboratorio.

Paredes Orúe indicó que este es un ejemplo para las futuras generaciones para que también tomen con seriedad y empeño su preparación aprovechando los conocimientos de sus catedráticos.

La prueba nacional es un requisito para que los estudiantes realicen su residentado médico y la práctica de su carrera.
