Mollendo 29 abril 2026.- La Municipalidad Provincial de Islay informa a la población que continúan los trabajos de mejoramiento de la transitabilidad vehicular y peatonal en la obra que se ejecuta en el sector de Alto San Martín. El Alcalde Richard Ale Cruz.

Actualmente, se viene avanzando en la nivelación de las zonas laterales de la vía, etapa previa al proceso de fresado, lo que permitirá posteriormente realizar el asfaltado y garantizar una infraestructura vial moderna y segura para todos los usuarios.

Esta obra reviste gran importancia para el desarrollo de la ciudad, ya que esta vía conecta directamente con la avenida Mariscal Castilla, una de las principales arterias de Mollendo y eje fundamental dentro del circuito turístico local.

Con estos trabajos, la comuna provincial busca no solo optimizar el tránsito, sino también impulsar el crecimiento del turismo, mejorando el acceso a zonas estratégicas y fortaleciendo la imagen urbana de la ciudad.
