08 enero 2021.- APP emitió un comunicado en el que lamentó la decisión del JEE de excluir a su candidato presidencial.

08 enero 2021.- El candidato presidencial de Alianza Para el Progreso (APP), César Acuña, llegó a Arequipa para inaugurar su local de campaña en la Ciudad Blanca, ubicado en el palomar, y para presentar su lista al Congreso.

Luego se dirigió hacia la Plaza de Armas en compañía de sus seguidores.

"Mi presencia acá en Arequipa es para decir que César Acuña tiene tres ejes fundamentales para su gobierno: salud, reactivar la economía y la generación de puestos de trabajo", dijo Acuña frente a la Catedral.

Poco después, el Jurado Electoral Especial Lima Centro 1 excluyó a César Acuña de la fórmula de candidatos de APP.

Por su parte, APP emitió un comunicado en el que lamentó la decisión del JEE de excluir a su candidato presidencial César Acuña y adelantó que ya están apelando ante el JNE.
