Arequipa 10 enero 2022.- El Gobierno Regional Arequipa a través de la Gerencia Regional de Salud informa que durante la primera semana del 2022 (03 al 09 de enero), 89 586 arequipeños acudieron a los vacunatorios para inmunizarse contra la COVID-19, de los cuales 6 939 personas recibieron su primera dosis, 18 947 completaron su vacunación con la segunda dosis y 63 700 personas recibieron su dosis de refuerzo.

De acuerdo al Repositorio Único Nacional de Información en Salud (REUNIS), en nuestra región 1 041 597 personas han recibido las dos de la vacuna, 86 056 recibieron una sola dosis y 160 095 no han recibido ninguna dosis.

La vacunación ha demostrado ser el medio más eficaz para evitar cuadros graves del nuevo coronavirus, por ello exhortamos a la población que les falte alguna dosis o no hayan iniciado aun con la vacunación, acudir oportunamente a los centros de inmunización de lunes a viernes en el horario de 8.00 a.m. a 5.00 p.m.
