GERESA DECLARA EN ALERTA ROJA A MICRO RED DE SALUD CHIGUATA POR RIESGO DE ERUPCIÓN VOLCÁNICA

Arequipa 03 julio 2023.- Ante el inicio del proceso eruptivo del volcán Ubinas, la Gerencia Regional de Salud Arequipa ha declarado en alerta roja a los cuatro establecimientos de salud que conforman la M.R. Chiguata de la Red de Salud Arequipa Caylloma, dada su proximidad con la zona de riesgo.

El personal de salud del C.S. Chiguata, P.S. Arenales, P.S. Salinas Huito y P.S. San Juan de Tarucani, desde el día 26 de junio se encuentran alertas ante cualquier eventualidad o daño a la salud que pueda generar este evento. Asimismo, el Espacio de Monitoreo de Emergencias y Desastres – EMED, desarrolla la vigilancia epidemiológica respectiva, monitoreo del stock de mascarillas, lentes protectores, medicamentos e insumos médicos de los EE.SS. cercanos al volcán Ubinas.

Es importante mencionar que, la GERESA cuenta con 06 Brigadas de Intervención Inicial en Emergencias y Desastres para su movilización inmediata en caso sea necesario.
